Reid & DeLeye Contractors founded 30 years ago has experience and reputation in design build, pre-engineered and conventional construction. Clients range from the municipal, industrial, commercial, multi-unit residential and institutional services. Municipal landmarks such as the police station, Lake Lisgar Bridge and Tillsonburg Skate Park are but a few examples of our quality workmanship in the local area.
Reid & DeLeye have experienced steady growth, upwards of 30 million dollars per year in contracts. Much of our work is done through prequalified public tender while the majority of our work is focused on design/build working directly with the client, design architects, engineers and sub-trades. Some examples of design/build projects all of whom happen to be repeat customers include, Townsend Lumber, DeCloet Ltd., Fleetwood Metal Industries, ASB Greenworld Ltd., McLaughlin Bros., Mushroom Producers Co-op Inc., and Rieter Automotive Mastico.
Another popular delivery method for Reid & DeLeye has been 'Construction Management'. This method allows the construction manager to work in conjunction with the owner and the consultant from the pre-construction/design development stage, all the way through to completion of the project. Similar to design/ build, this method allows the construction manager to selet the best qualified trade contractors to form the construction team. Some recent examples include, Tillson Landing, Tillsonburg; Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville; Village by the Grand, Dunnville; Hampton Inn, Guelph and St. Andrews Church, Brantford.
Commercially, Reid & DeLeye have been responsible for the construction of several new car dealerships such as Glassford Motors Ltd, Ingersoll; Simcoe Toyota, Koncir Automotive and Blue Star Ford Sales Ltd. , Simcoe. We have also constructed several restaurants for Tim Hortons and Burger King in the towns of Tillsonburg, London, St. Thomas and Strathroy.
Insitutional projects now constitute a great portion of our current workload. School boards have been an unending source of repeat work for Reid & DeLeye through construction managment, design/build and pre-qualified tender. At present work is being done for the Grand Erie District School Board, for renovations and an addition to the Delhi District High School , a new elementary school for the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board in Paris and for the Wellington Catholic District School Board, Holy Trinity addition in Guelph.
