Project Manager

Experience:

  1. Capable of managing multiple projects with individual values up to 15,000,000.
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager with a General Contractor.

Education:

  1. A post education for Architectural or Civil
  2. Ongoing related construction education, offered by OGCA and CCA to become Gold Seal Certified.

Responsibilities:

  1. To have a thorough knowledge of drawings and specifications relating to each project for which he/she is responsible.
  2. To work in harmony with field staff, subtrades and suppliers
  3. Prepare project scheduling to meet client's demands in coordination with field staff.
  4. Have Start-up requirements in place: Notice of Project, Insurance, Building permits.
  5. Administration and expedition of subcontract and purchases following award of contract.
  6. Coordination and processing of shop drawings
  7. Attend all site meetings, record and distribute minutes.
  8. Liaison with architects and/or owners of appointed projects
  9. Preparation and submission for extra work or changes to the work.
  10. The expediting and processing of change orders.
  11. Preparation of monthly invoices to owners and approval of payments to subcontractors.
  12. The final clean-up of a project and turnover to owner, including expediting of final hold-back release, maintenance manuals, startup mechanical and electrical systems.
